Roof Structure & Covering:
There are many different ways to make a roof structure. If the roof is to be truss detail, the trusses will need to be lifted into position and secured.
- Fix each truss to the wall plate.
- Fit wind bracing.
- Fit fascias, barge boards, soffits and make box ends where needed. Fit soffit or over fascia vents if specified.
- Lay felt and fix roofing batten.
- Lay roof covering.
If the roof structure is to be a cut roof detail, the structure will be made from lengths of timber to a specific design and made either in a workshop or on site.
